About the Podcast

Is age nothing but a number or does it carry a heavier weight than we actually think? Many women can be limited in their goals or dreams based on a number that equates to their age. Join the More Than Your Age Podcast host, Erica Pasvar, as she engages in conversations with women who fully live their lives without being dictated or defined by their age. This is a space to encourage women who feel blocked to pursue a dream or goal based on their age or life circumstances. Let’s start living life fully and become More Than Your Age.

Meet Your Host,
Erica Pasvar

Erica Pasvar is a proud wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend living in the DFW metroplex. Her main passions are to find joy in life’s everyday gifts and help other people find the same purpose in what brings them happiness. Her utmost importance is her faith as a Christian and speaking truth about who Christ is. She finds value in sharing about life’s challenges through honest vulnerability in hopes it can help someone else.

The Birth of More Than Your Age

The concept of being More Than Your Age came from observing women of all ages who complain about their age and/or use their season in life as an excuse or limitation to avoid pursuing the things they want to do. These “things” could be as big as starting a business, wanting to pursue a degree, or as small as going to a movie by themselves. Erica found too many women using their age or season in life in a negative light as a hindrance preventing them to chase after or do the things or passions they want to do. The excuse of “I’m not married, I am married, If only I had a husband, kids, no kids, a better job, lived elsewhere, started earlier, waited, etc. I’m too old, I missed my opportunity, I’m too young, I’m not (talented, smart, -insert any negative belief) enough to do what I want to do, blocks women from going after the things in life that could bring a certain fulfillment that they are missing out on.

Erica’s hope and goal by starting The More Than Your Age Podcast is to speak with women who avoid those negative beliefs and use their stories to help ignite a passion and encourage other women to follow and chase their dreams/desires.

If you feel blocked to pursue a dream or goal based on your age or life circumstance or just need encouragement from the everyday woman, THIS is the podcast for you!
